PrivacyWall is an official supporter of the CCPA and we helped secure passage of this landmark privacy law to protect consumer privacy.
The CCPA is the California Consumer Privacy Act. The CCPA requires all companies, organizations, schools, and institutions of higher learning that handle and process data to protect the privacy of user data. The deadline to comply with the CCPA is January 1, 2020.
Organizations can take these 3 steps to comply with the CCPA
1. Your organization can become CCPA compliant by using PrivacyWall as your search engine.
2. Installing the PrivacyWall Windows Firewall.
3. Set up PrivacyWall for Android as the default search engine and browser for the smartphones in your organization.
If you manage many PCs, we produced a helpful guide on setting up the PrivacyWall Search Engine for all PCs in your enterprise and corporate environment using group policy templates.
By using PrivacyWall in your enterprise environment, organizations can easily secure the privacy of user data and shield themselves from legal liability in the event of a data breach under the CCPA.
